Mr. Jos Paulin is President of Preston Phipps. He began
his career with the company in 1961. In 1971 Mr. Paulin
gradually began acquiring the company until gaining full
ownership in 1990. By assembling a strong and agile management
team, investing in knowledge and technology and through
the development of long-standing relationships with leading
manufacturer Armstrong, Mr. Paulin has built Preston Phipps
into a recognized leader in steam specialty and industrial
products and services. Preston Phipps has also played
a part in almost every major construction project or municipal
waterworks infrastructure initiative in the past 30 years
in Central and Eastern Canada.
Mr. Paulin has been an active member of the American
Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
Engineers (ASHRAE) serving as its President
in 1966. Today, Mr. Paulin remains active in the organization
and currently serves as its trustee.

Mr. Mark Paulin initially joined Preston Phipps in 1988.
From 1990-1994, Mark worked in inside sales while
completing his university studies. From 1994-1997, he
became administrative director for Preston Phipps and was
responsible for the on-going administrative operations and
overseeing the company's technology infrastructure. From
1997-1999, Mark was appointed to Sales Manager for Preston
Phipps' Maritime operations and relocated to New
Brunswick. Mark returned to Montreal in 1999 to undertake
the position of Vice President, Operations. Today, Mark is
responsible for managing all aspects of Preston Phipps'
operations including finance, accounting, human resources
and technology systems.
In 2004,
Mark headed Preston Phipps' expansion into western Canada
opening 3 new offices. This expansion is consistent with
Preston Phipps' long term commitment to the growth of the
organization, he continues to oversee all sales efforts in
Alberta and BC.
Mark graduated from Concordia University with a Bachelor
of Commerce Degree with a specialization in Administrative
Management. Mark is also a member of the American
Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
Engineers (ASHRAE) and the Montreal Board
of Trade.

Rino Forgione,

Mr. Rino Forgione started working
for Preston Phipps in 1989 as outside sales representative
covering consulting and institution clients. In 1999,
Rino was named to the position of Vice President, Administration.
His responsibilities include the day-to-day management
of the company’s inside sales team, pre-sales engineering,
technical services as well as Preston Phipps’ training
facility.
Since
2005, Rino also oversees all sales efforts in the Maritime
provinces.
Rino earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree
from Concordia University in 1988. He completed his Masters
in Business Administration from Concordia in 1998. Rino
is also a member of the Quebec Order of Engineers.

Richard

Mr. Richard Cyr initially joined
Preston Phipps in 1983. For the first 6 years of his career
at the company, Richard worked as a sales representative
in Montreal. In 1989, he was appointed to Vice President
for the company’s Maritime operations in Halifax,
Nova Scotia. From 1994-2000, Richard returned to Montreal
to undertake the position of Vice President, Sales &
Marketing. In this capacity, Richard was responsible for
the development and management of Preston Phipps’
overall sales & marketing strategy. In 2001, Richard
transferred to Toronto to spearhead the company’s
Ontario operations. After only two years, Richard has
delivered exceptional results and strong bottom-line profitability
to the company.
Richard graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering
from Concordia University and is a member of the Professional
Engineers of Ontario. |
Gérald Bénard,

With experience gathered in project
engineering and plant management with Imperial Oil Ltd.
and as a contracts administrator for the MUCTC, Mr. Gérald
Bénard joined Preston Phipps in 1980. Gérald
performed various sales and administrative duties supporting
the growth and reputation of Preston Phipps and the products
and suppliers it represents. In 1999 Gerald was appointed
to Vice President, Sales & Marketing and is responsible
for the strategic direction and management of Preston
Phipps’ Montreal team.
Gérald graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering
degree from McGill University in 1970 and is a member
of the Quebec Order of Engineers as well as the American
Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning
Engineers (ASHRAE) and the International
Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE). |
Sylvain
Lewis, B.Sc

As president of Preston Phipps’
Energy Solutions Management subsidiary, Armserv Inc.,
Mr. Sylvain Lewis carries out the responsibility of managing
and developing the company’s Energy Management services
and products. Prior to Armserv, Sylvain spent 10 years
with Preston Phipps as a sales representative.
Since 1982, Preston Phipps (and now through Armserv) has
performed over 500 energy audits. Today Armserv has the
ability to survey, analyze, recommend solutions and provide
turnkey projects in the area of steam distribution, boiler
room and compressed air.
Sylvain earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree from Université
de Montréal, Polytechnique in 1997. |
